Last year’s edition of the International Talent Workshop has drawn the attention of many young filmmakers coming from different countries worldwide. It has proven to have become a successful educational-practical program for 10 young selected talents from numerous international film-schools, guided and supervised by award-winning filmmakers.

Once again we are persistent in JFF Talent Workshop’s mission of putting together young international talents with various cultural backgrounds to sharpen their cinematic and creative skills in a spirit of mutual appreciation.

Filling the gap between formal education and its practical application, during the intensive 10- day program, our mission is to produce tangible and quality driven results while working in a highly open-minded atmosphere. That is why JFF Talent Workshop is designed for small teams with the goal to produce concrete results, namely two short low-budget films.

We are highly motivated to introduce our participants to the secrets of the filmmaking business!

The program of 2012 Talent Workshop consists of a series of lectures, film screenings, screenplay development, shooting, editing, open discussions in a friendly atmosphere and finally, realization of two short digital films.

Jewish Film Festival is an excellent opportunity to become more familiar with contemporary Jewish film productions, selected by the honorary president Mr. Branko Lustig, who is one of the most significant  film producers of our time.

Throughout their stay in Zagreb, the 10 selected participants will have a unique chance to gain the know-how from some of the world’s greatest contemporary filmmakers, as well as to develop new friendships with their colleagues on and off set, and, last but not least, gain valuable experience that the filming of short films has to offer.

Shooting will be conducted on JVC HD cameras while editing will be done on IMac, using the Final Cut pro package.

At the Talent Workshop we want to develop your creative potential and encourage you to make your film dreams come true. We believe in your enthusiasm and creativity!

Talent Workshop is a Free Educational Program; the organization of the Jewish Film Festival offers FREE board and lodging to the selected participants.

The official language of ITW is English.
